Cast Iron Cleaning and Maintenance
Before its first use, simply rinse your cast iron pan with warm water and a little mild dish washing soap. After each use, rinse and clean with a nylon scrubber or soap if needed. Dry your cast iron cookware thoroughly after each use and before storing. Its pre-seasoned non-stick surface is easy to clean and maintain. Caution: keep your cast iron cookware dry; do not put your castiron cookware in the dishwasher; do not use detergents on your castiron cook ware and do not immerse hot cast iron in cold water.
